I had the opportunity to do Kia and Chineyne's engagement session also. They were so sweet and so in love :)

Kia put alot of thought into the little details of her wedding which made their day fun and inviting.

They had their first dnce choreographed and did a great job. Their family and friends were so surprised :)

Congratulations to Tracy and Gavin 02-04-06

anders_0764.jpg

It had been a while since I had the chance to photograph a local wedding. I met Tracy last year at The Bridal Extravaganza at the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge.

They were married in Cordova and a very old and historic Catholic Chapel and their Ceremony followed in Easton, Maryland. She and Gavin were very sweet and it was great to be a part of their day.

Tracy and Gavin, I hope you had a wonderful time in Disney World :)

New Years Weddings

This was the first year I have ever done New Years weddings and was blessed to have one on New Years Eve and one on New Years Day and both in Philly.

It was great being part of 2 celebrations at once

Sneak-a-Peak

Jenn and Herb were married on New Years Eve. I had gotten to know them a bit because in the Fall I was able to have an e session with them. They truly are fun people :)

It was a long day because They had a full Catholic Mass on a Saturday and the latest they would have a wedding was 2pm, the reception was at 7 pm so that gave a lot of down time, and so we were off to the Art Museum in Philly, which I had never been to before. I recognized it immediately from the Rocky movies.

I must say, it was quite amusing watching people stand at the top of the stairs and jump, LOL! I thought about shooting some of them, but thought that would not be the nicest thing. It was a fun place to photograph and were were even allowed to get a few shots inside :)

Herb and Jenn rung in the New Year with Style and I thoroughly enjoyed bringing in the New Year with them :)

Sneak-a-Peak

New Years Day was equally wonderful. David and Mia had totally different personalities then Herb and Jen so the results were completely different, but equally as wonderful. I had been talking with Mia since November 2004, so it was a pleasure to be a part of their day :)

Congratulations to Courtney & Dan

I love Beach wedding and maybe that is because I love the beach. This was my 3rd wedding in the weekend. I was still feeling a bit under the weather, but the day was just lovely. I had never met or even talked personally with Courtney, but she was lovely. Her Mom who was so lovely inside and out had hired me and I was so glad that she did.

Courtney was a lovely bride, she did her hair herself and that was amazing to me! Courtney and Dan's little boy was so precious. For those of you who know me, you know how I love to photograph children and this was no exception. The love for this little boy throughout the day, warmed this mothers heart.

This wedding was a destination wedding for Dan and Courtney and a lovely one at that :) I was so glad to be a part of their day. The evening ended with a lovely full moon :)

Courtney, I hope you did not see it, but I did a Miss Congeniality move and fell down the steps leaving. I was terribly embarrassed and my equiptment survived the fall. I scaped my lags but all is well :) It was so embarrassing though :(

Congratulations to Kira & Ryan

Oh my this was such a cute couple, just going through this wedding made me laugh so hard!! This was wedding #2 for the weekend. I had been sick all week and was still not feeling the best, but this couple were soooo much fun!!! Ryan is a state trooper and from rumor, is apparently pretty reserved, however.... I never saw that in him. I think he is the most animated groom I have ever seen. I want you to know, I did not ask him to do any of what you see below. I did throw in a few sweet shots too. Kira was just so sweet, but I knew that because of our meeting last January.

Their wedding was in Historic Chestertown Maryland and they held their reception at The Granery. The timing and location gave us a beautiful sunset.

Note, I wanted to say that the ring shot is from my wonderful assitant Sarah. She is really coming along with her shooting, and I love her eye!!! I am not sure what I would do without her :)

Thank you Sarah!!!!!! You are GREAT!!!

Congratulations to Leah & Carey

This was a crazy weekend with a wedding on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was the first time I had ever done that and I am happy to say that I SURVIVED!!!!!!! It was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, however, I am not sure that I will do it again.

Leah & Carey were the first of the weekend and what a beautiful couple they were!!! They were married at Cereville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland which is a beautiful site with a very traditional feel.

Oh, and I had the priviledge to have Mark Gardner 2nd shoot with me. That was really a nice blessing :) He did an incredible job :)

Leah, who is currently studying to be a nurse was so much fun and so relaxed in from of the camera and I think it shows in the photographs. Carey, is such a sweetheart and you can tell he is totally in love. It had rained all week long, but even though the sun did not really come out, they were able to have the wedding of their dreams outside. It was simply lovely :)

Meet Mr & Mrs George Quade!

Congratulations to George and Jenn Vickers!!! They were married on October 1st in Ocean City Maryland. Jenn is a free spirit and so much fun to be around. Family is very important to her and it shows. I loved watching how sweet George was with her. There were many tender moments!

I must say the grandmothers really made me smile. I truly wanted to bring them back home with me :)

Congratulations to Art & Kim 09-24-05

This was my last wedding and and it went to the dogs in a good way. Art & Kim love their dogs and consider them as part of the family, so it was only appropriate to include them in the wedding party. Their puppies, were flowergirl and ring bearer. This was the only time I wished I had a video camera because the 1st time Kim & Art kissed as man and wife, their dogs barks as if on que. It was very cute. Here are some highlights from their day at The Easton Club.

Congrats To Chuck & Elizabeth 09-17-05

I really want to try and have a preview of all the wedding days later. With the new Kart and such, my blogging has been difficult to keep up with, but that is my plan.

I am so happy for Chuck and Elizabeth who were married at Historic Londontown.
It was a beautiful hot day. All Elizabeth's choices in the fine details really made a difference. Everything worked together to make their day beautiful. They were a very sweet couple to work with. Her mom made all the favors, which were chocolate and molded in the fashion of the capitol since both bride and groom work on Capitol Hill. They left by boat which was decorated in a Hawaian theme. It was a wonderful day of family and friends.

Thank you to all who helped the day go well.

Jeannie & Joe

I am currently processing the images for Jeannie and Joes wedding with was in August as well. They were married at The Easton Church of God and celebrated their reception at the historic Maritime Museum in St Michaels. The reception was catered by Kendall's. The out door veiw was lovely especially with the Sea Shell theme Jeannie chose. It was a scorcher of a day at 90 degrees but that did not affect the love Jeannie & Joe shared. Look in the next week for the full story in the client area on my site.
