March, 2008
This is from the Isle of Palm Wedding. This little one caught a ride on the train of the bride. Krystal was a little surprised at her un invited guest
A Little Un-Nerved at this point. I had no clue what the story was here.
Oh Look! A little Crab
Isn’t he cute. My husband and I kindly escorted this guest out and placed him back in the Harbour. Hopefully, He made it safely home
Have a great weekend,
Laura
Welcome Baby Trent. I have photographed this family for years. What a blessing to be there at the beginning. This is kind of old news, but it is the new you missed and I am feeling like the story on so many of these need to be told
I think this is one of my most favorite photos ever!
Yes a 3 week old can smile
Whatch you talkin about Willous?
In His Grace,
Laura
Who said it was going to rain? It could not have been a prettier day in the Isle of Palm, South Carolina.
A tearful Moment before Krystal’s Bridemaids.
Have I mentioned that I love mirrors! More on mirrors later.
What can be better than freshly painted piggy toes and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Whoops, Got myself working
Great Lines!
I love natural portraits! We had this schedules, but I am always on the lookout for those unexpected moments occur.
You would not believe how hard the sand on the beach was. I was like rock
Who is that cute guy on the roof grabbing the shot. Oh look it is my lover and assitant for the day
My self portrait of the day
Teddy and Krystal had an artist come and paint during the ceremony. At an appointed time, the paint was revealed. It was a Beautiful touch.
I love this series! I had my assitand/husband hold the light which created the shadow of the knife on the wall. Normally I would move or have the light moved, but it went with the theme of this couple and their personalities, so I played on it.
I have not seen one of these in a while
You cannot forget the ket to your honeymoon suite
Have a great week,
Laura
It is always a compliment and humbling when another photographer asked you to photograph their wedding. This was the case for Laura of Laura’s Focus. She and Ron were married at Laura’s parent’s estate in September. Their wedding remains to be one of my favorites of the year.
You have to love it when the Light is this. Beautiful!
I am not a cat person, but I loved this cat. He had such personality and seemed more like a dog
Be prepared! Yes, the bridesmaid’s zipper broke. Have no fear, Mom had thread to match and they were able to sew the dress on her.
I love mirrors!
Daddy’s Babies! The car and his beautiful daughter.
The lines in this church were amazing!
Waiting for the moment is key. I liked this guys look and just had a feeling something was about to happen. I shot a nice portrait and waited and then he graciously gave me what I was waiting for.
Corney, but I still like to do variations of this shot. It was almost sunset , so why not go for a great, but funky silouette.
Another great moment. This was during their alone time and the birds helped make the moment!
Beautiful scene setter.
Cigars are always fun to photograph
Family friend joins the bad for a couple of songs. What Fun!
I was so excited to stumble upon this resting cutie
The face you make when a 12 year old puts on the garter.
